The Matlin Case
Well, if you thought Donald Trump was an awful person: he has become extremely awful now with the following statement!

Mr. Trump called a deaf actress a retard. According to the Daily Beast, he has also called the actress deaf several times. On Wednesday, Trump was accused for making weird, irrelevant sexual remarks about Marlee Matin.
Matlin was an Oscar winning actress who participated in Mr. Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice show. Previously, he had mimicked, insulted and demeaned the actress as mentally handicapped. And, all these statements were made because the actress was deaf!
The Incident
Matlin won the “Best Actress Academy Award” in 2011. To date, she has being the only deaf actress to win this award. She appeared in Trump’s reality series and placed second. Indeed, she won many compliment for her win. However, the actress was regularly disrespected by Mr. Trump. In some cases, she was treated as mentally disabled too. Sometimes, the insults are and were behind Maltin’s back. While there are occasions when he speaks right in-front of her! Due to the presence of serious non-disclosure agreements with members who are a part of the production, everyone who revealed this issue is quoted anonymously. One source said, “Matlin was equated to a mentally retard person”.
In one of the shows, Mr Trump has scribbled down important notes. And, in one of these notes he had written Marlee, is she retarded? Likewise, he was caught for making fun of her voice too! Though he spoke of her as “special”, sources revealed that Trump identified her deafness as a sign of a handicap.
Matlin didn’t keep quiet to all these insults. She did stand up and spoke for herself! Few years back, Matlin told New York Post that Trump treated her with respect and humor. She said that Trump was looking after her! Well, these were just politically correct and rehearsed statements.
