Tension Continue To Rise At India And Pakistan Border

After the increased number of firings from both sides, India has decided to take necessary measures and has relocated 10,000 civilians of nearby villages from the disputed area of Kashmir.

On Saturday morning, both sides accused each other of taking the first shots. The tensions between the nuclear neighbors have been raised after the current unrest in Kashmir valley.

According to Indian authorities, 47 camps have been established for migrants from the affected areas near LOC “Line of control”.

The Pakistani army put the blame on India for firing on its respective area and said its troops just befittingly responded to that assault.

UN has also offered both sides to negotiate under the UN umbrella. A spokesperson of UN secretary general clearly gave the proposal to mediate between the neighbors.

On Thursday, India asserted that it successfully has conducted surgical strikes inside the Pak region of Kashmir on terrorist camps. Pakistan completely denied the statement of the Indian army. In Thursday’s attack, two Pakistani soldiers lost their lives on which Pak said that these soldiers died in the cross border firing.

United Nation said in statement that they are following the situation with great concern and they urged both sides to stabilize the line of control.

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has cleared stated that Pak armed forces are much more then capable of defending their country and that hey will stop any and all evil design of attacks  against their homeland.

Kashmir is a disputed region between India and Pakistan and since the partition of sub continent; it is a vigorously contested area between these two countries. Both nations have fought wars in 1948, 1965, 1971, while in 1999; they were near a full scale war after the kargil conflict.

After the killing of rebel leader Burhan Wani by the Indian armed forces, the valley is facing massive clashes with Indian forces leaving more than 80 civilians dead in its continuing conflict.
