Gone are the days when android people compromised living with Apple gadgets. Today, many employees with Apple devices are fired from companies. These measures are taken by several Chinese firms against their employees with Apple devices. Workers who are tempted to use Apple devices should be aware of these firms and their principles.

The Recent Case

Firms that fire employees with Apple devices have strong justifications for their act. They are doing it for patriotic reasons. Also, they believe that employees with a strong passion for Apple devices are too materialistic! This falls in line with a case that was registered in the Henan province. Here, the Nanyang Yongkang Medical Company issued notices telling their workers to stay away from iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. They also said that people who break this rule will be forced to resign immediately. Doesn’t this sound too bad? Well, this was a rule passed by the company to all its workers. The notice became viral in no time. It was shared in many social media networking sites with hash tags like staff with iPhone 7 fired.

Losing Jobs!

Some researchers and economists told that the idea of boycotting Apple products can be a counter-productive move. After all, many Apple devices are manufactured from Foxconn factories. These factories are found in China. This move from various Chinese firms can bring down the Foxconn Company. As a result, thousands of employees would lose their jobs. Even more so, many domestic parts suppliers can and would face serious losses.  I say, go for it. It’s a free market out there and the choice should be your own not some Corporations.
